Okay so where do I start? I've been working on graphics this week. I finally figured out how to make blinkies, which is really cool  so im happy about that, its only taken me pretty much years to get that figured out *lol* im such a loser, I know anyway yeah and I went into work on monday afternoon which was fun(!) as when I got there the lights were out and my boss was nowhere to be seen, even though I'd told him I'd be in then *bah* anyway it all got sorted out and I did work for a few hours then he decided he wanted me to change what I'd been working on and asked me to come in on Thursday so I also worked pretty much all day then too. I'm doing work on a project we've been working on for about a year/just under a year and my boss keeps giving me a rough idea of whats to be done then walks off and doesnt bother to come back and check what I've done, which just pisses me off really...so now I've not been told when I'm expected in next, other than we want to do some kind of dry run of how its all going to work during induction week which is a week on Monday, I think I'll be in on Friday for that. I asked him about that on Monday but he said hes not got that far yet so he hasn't decided what their going to do as regards that *shrug*

Its awful whats happened with hurricane Katrina, isnt it? :( I've donated to the red cross last night and I've been adding links for donating to my message board signatures and on my website and yahoo groups, maybe it does some good I dunno *shrug* it just sounds like its been going from bad to worse, its really sad... makes you count your blessings!

Hmmm what else? well I'm starting that confidence course next Friday...im quite nervous about that. Its a group setting, we meet up at a hospital for an hour and a half every week for about 8 weeks I think it is. I'm not such a 'group' kinda person you know, but then I dont suppose any of the people there really are... I'd talked to someone about it back in June and she reckoned that was the best situation for me was to be in this small group and do this course thing. I'm not really all that convinced but I'm going to give it a shot... I dont really know what to expect, I was told about it back then in June but that seems like an age ago and my memory certainly isnt the best so I dont remember much, other than her saying I dont have to talk about myself much and stuff like that, they dont ask about your past or deal with anything negative its all positive stuff. I think she was saying I should think of the goals I'd want to set, you have to come up with stuff to work on throughout and think about what you want to accomplish but when I think about it, im really not all that sure what that would be... I dont know...

*sigh* well, yesterday was fun(!)  I went in to work for the morning, thinking I was just waiting for the guy who visits the college every while or so to help us with a project we're doing, I was thinking he was just going to pick up some files and head off to finish it for us like im pretty sure he said the last time he was in but oh no, it ends up him going through all this complicated stuff and of course its up to me to get it all done, so I was trying to take in all this stuff while watching the clock tick. I said I'd work until 1pm, by quarter past my mum walked in wondering where I was!  *blah* hah and he nearly lost 2 hours worth of work on movie maker 'cause he hadn't saved the project file   - clever, eh?

Anyway so my head was all full of this IT stuff he's wanting me to do. I'll go into work again next Monday afternoon to work on that... hopefully I managed to get a rough ntoe of everything so I remember what im doing...

Also, when I got back home, I got a letter about this confidence building course. I was placed on a waiting list after going to talk to someone about it back in June and I've been given a place on the next course that starts on September 9th. Its a bit awkward as its on a friday morning and both my parents work then (I dont have a driving license, of course), so we'll have to sort out a way I can get there and back *sigh* also I work thursday evenings until 9pm, so I didnt want to have to get up early on friday's after working until 9pm the day before but oh well... yeah I guess im lucky to be going on this course. I'm still kinda hesitant about it as its a group thing and I dont really like the thought of that... it just makes me a bit nervous...anyway so thats going to start just a couple of days before good ol' induction week, which has to be the busiest week at work all year! oh fun times(!) oh also my mum decided that we would postpone having the swimming lessons we'd talked about until after Christmas because we're going to be busy, me with this course and work and my mums just started a new job in a different county so, at least I wont have that to worry about I guess.

Grr I had more plans for working on my website again and its down! its been down all morning, I cant even access my account content on my FTP account... I cant login properly either. I posted on the web hosts mssg board and someone else said their having the same problem so I'm presuming that the server they use for the free site accounts is being attacked as I know the hosting company have warned that they've been attacked by hackers a few times lately. Well thats just great especially as ive been promoting my site so much, how can I have a site up that disappears for hours on end and you've no idea if it'll work or not? plus I've already moved it once already and it only launched on sunday! *bah*

The site sometimes goes down, I think the hosts are having problems trying to defend attacks against hackers or something right now but the site will be back up it only lasts a minute or so, so if the link doesnt seem to work, wait a minute and refresh the page, it should work then... hopefully this will stop happening soon.

Eh im going back in to work for a few hours tomorrow, I havent been at work for a couple of weeks now so its about time I went back to earn some more money *lol* especially as I ordered a memory card for my great new phone last Tuesday and paid for 1st class recorded delivery and I STILL havent got it *grump* so I'm def. in need of some extra money... im also selling stuff on Amazon Marketplace and I have an auction going on Ebay UK... hopefully it should all help!

Okay so I got my new mobile (cell) phone last week and I really love it! its the coolest!  it has a 1.3 megapixel camera, takes pics and videos, acts as an MP3 player, you can make MP3 ringtones, I can transfer files between computer to phone and phone to computer (the cable came with the phone), its got like everything! it even has removeable memory. I've just ordered a 512mb card (which was pretty cheap, all things considered!) so yeah im feeling a bit guilty about that (as im not working much at the moment, I really shouldnt be splurging out on stuff so much - oh well, ill make up for it in the next few months when I get paid more overtime etc.)

I also bought this program that lets me convert my video files on my laptop to the format used on the phone, so I can view my video files on my phone  - how cool is that?  so yeah im really happy with that... I've taken a few pics and videos with it already, it all works well!

I've been having some computer problems since last Thursday evening, first my capture card wasnt working then it didnt recognise my network card so I couldnt get online  on Saturday I realised my MP3 player wasnt working when connected either *grrr* so yeah I havent had the best of times with my laptop lately... however, I have made a couple of funny montage videos! ooh thats another thing I love, montage videos *hehe* of course their both BSB ones hehe ones called All The Small Things and the other one I just finished an hour or so ago, its called Shaking That Ass LOL check the Live Daily BSB forum for the thread to download those... their both pretty funny! oh yeah, talking of funny, if you havent seen the new BSB Diary Of show, you've got to see that! you can probably find links to download that over at the DLS street files forum (see:- http://www.dlsonline.net/forums/viewforum.php?f=26&sid=6f4ab6a5beb768088f40bf5e56913e7e)

I'm going to see a show at the Edinburgh Festival with my parents tonight, its some eastern thing with acrobatics and they do sword fights and stuff I think, its called yin & yang... hopefully that'll be good anyway *lol*
